Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Baseline. The most important clause is the third one: this is educational information, not medical care, and it cannot diagnose you.

Acceptance of these terms
By using Baselineyou agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the service. If you're agreeing on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to do so.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Baseline.
What Baseline is
Baseline provides educational information and self-assessment tools relating to men's health, plus optional paid guides and programmes. We also link to third-party laboratories and clinics, some of which pay us a commission, as described in how we make money.
What Baseline is not — medical disclaimer
Baseline is not a medical provider and does not practise medicine. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and no doctor–patient relationship is created by using it.
The assessment is an educational screening tool, adapted from a published questionnaire. It cannot measure your hormone levels, it cannot diagnose any condition, and its result is not a medical opinion. Only a licensed clinician interpreting an actual blood test can determine whether your testosterone is low.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions about your health, starting or stopping any treatment, or acting on anything you read here. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something on this site. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately.
We do not sell, prescribe, or dispense any medication, hormone, or supplement.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when using the assessment or buying a subscription
- Keep your account credentials secure and don't share them
- Use your own judgement, and a clinician's, before acting on anything here
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, resell, or redistribute our paid content without permission
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to present our content as your own medical advice to others
- Reverse-engineer the assessment scoring for a competing commercial product
Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. We may change pricing, but existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice before a change affects them.
Account termination
You may stop using Baseline and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used fraudulently, or creates risk for us or other users. Where it's reasonable to do so, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right.
If we terminate your account without cause, we'll refund the unused portion of anything you've prepaid.
Intellectual property
All content on Baseline — text, guides, assessment logic, design, and branding — belongs to Baseline or its licensors and is protected by copyright.
Buying a subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own use. It does not transfer ownership, and it does not permit republication or resale.
The symptom questions are adapted from the published ADAM screening questionnaire, which remains the work of its original authors.
Third-party links
We link to laboratories, clinics, and other services we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, their products, their pricing, or what they do with your information. Any dealing you have with them is between you and them.
We disclose clearly which links earn us a commission. That commission never determines the result the assessment gives you.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information here is complete or current. Health science changes; we correct things when we learn we were wrong.
We make no guarantee of any health outcome. Nothing here promises that your testosterone, symptoms, or wellbeing will improve.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baseline will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where the law doesn't permit that limitation.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Baseline against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll update the date above and, where we have your email, notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
