You feel off. Find out whether testosterone is really the reason.
This is the screening questionnaire clinicians use, with one addition: the five ordinary things — sleep, weight, drinking, training, stress — that cause identical symptoms and that a testosterone clinic has no reason to ask you about.
Three things this can tell you. One of them costs us money.
- Worth measuring
- Your symptoms are significant and nothing obvious in your life explains them. A blood test is the only thing that turns a suspicion into a fact.
- Fix these first
- The symptoms are real, but so are the things you told us that suppress testosterone on their own. Get a baseline number, then deal with those — your levels may recover without treatment.
- Probably not testosterone
- Your pattern doesn't match what low testosterone actually looks like. Don't buy a test kit or a clinic subscription. We earn nothing from this answer, and it's the one that makes the other two worth trusting.
We don't sell testosterone.
Every other site answering this question has testosterone to sell you — a prescription, a subscription, or a supplement. Their questionnaire has one destination, and it is checkout.
We sell nothing you put in your body. That isn't a moral pose, it's the business model. It is the only reason we can afford to tell you that you're fine.
No prescriptions, no supplements
We are not a clinic and not a pharmacy. We never touch treatment.
Your result comes from your answers alone
The scoring is fixed logic. Nobody can pay to change what you're told.
Every paid link says so, right where it appears
If a link earns us a commission it's labelled. Where we earn nothing, that's labelled too.
8 questions about how you feel, and 5 almost nobody asks.
The standard screen
- Has your sex drive dropped compared to a few years ago?
- Are your erections weaker than they used to be?
- Do you feel low on energy?
- Have you lost strength or endurance?
- Do you enjoy things less than you used to?
- Are you more irritable, grumpy, or low than you used to be?
- Do you find yourself falling asleep after dinner?
- Has your performance at work or in sport declined?
What clinics skip
- How would you describe your sleep?
- How would you describe your weight right now?
- How much do you drink in a typical week?
- How often do you do strength or resistance training?
- How has your stress been over the last six months?
Every one of these suppresses testosterone by itself. Leave them out and every tired man looks like a treatment candidate.
