Privacy Policy

You can take the entire assessment without giving us your name, your email, or any account. Your answers are scored in your own browser and are never transmitted to us or stored on our servers. We cannot see what you answered, and neither can anyone who compels us to hand over data, because we do not have it.

That is a deliberate design choice for a site that asks men about libido and erectile function. Everything below explains the narrower set of things we do collect.

Information you give us. If you ask us to email you the foundations or a retest reminder, we store your email address and which of the three outcome categories you were shown — never your answers. If you buy a subscription, we also collect the billing details needed to process payment. If you email support, we hold that correspondence. You can unsubscribe from any message, and ask us to delete your address at any time.

Information collected automatically. Standard analytics: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP (country/region level), device and browser type, referring site, and product events such as “started the assessment” or “completed the assessment”.

What we do not collect. Your individual assessment answers. Your symptom scores. Any health information tied to you personally. We record only the anonymous outcome category (for example, “fix these first”) so we can tell whether the tool is working — never the responses that produced it.

• To understand which parts of the site work and which don't
• To meet legal and accounting obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not run third-party ad trackers.

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser local storage for two purposes: keeping you signed in where applicable, and holding an anonymous analytics identifier so repeat visits aren't counted as new people.

Your in-progress assessment answers are held in your browser's memory only, for as long as the page is open. Closing the tab discards them. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the assessment will still work.

We use PostHog for product analytics. We have deliberately disabled two of its features: session recording (which would capture video of your screen) and autocapture (which would log every click and keystroke). Given the nature of the questions this site asks, we consider recording users indefensible.

What we do record is aggregate: how many people started the assessment, how many finished, and which outcome category they landed in. This tells us whether the product works without telling us anything about you.

We rely on a small number of providers, each with its own policy:

• Vercel — hosting and delivery of the website
• Stripe — payment processing. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your card number
• PostHog — product analytics, configured as described above
• Email delivery provider — sending programme and transactional emails

Where we link to a lab test or clinic, that is a separate company with its own privacy policy. Once you click through, their terms apply, not ours. We never pass your information to them.

• Assessment answers: never stored, so nothing to retain
• Account and subscription records: kept while your account is active, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting law requires
• Analytics events: retained for up to 12 months in anonymous form
• Support emails: kept for up to 24 months

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, object to processing, export it, or withdraw consent. Residents of the EEA and UK have these rights under GDPR; California residents have comparable rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

To exercise any of these, email baselinetestsupport@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that we cannot delete assessment answers because we never held them.

The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 provider, and never touch our servers. Access to any account data is limited to those who need it to operate the service.

No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. The strongest protection here is architectural: the most sensitive information involved — your answers about your own body — is never sent to us in the first place.

Baseline is intended for adults aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

If we change this policy materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects you and we have your email, tell you directly.
